Random No. 7
The randomness on my mind lately …
Fall TV — Oh man, here we go again! Setting the DVR, trying to figure out which new shows to actually invest in since they all seem to get canceled, and deciding whether or not to keep watching the old ones. Here’s my game plan:
- Not Going Anywhere: Homeland (cannot wait for tonight!), Revenge, The Good Wife, Criminal Minds,The Big Bang Theory
- New Shows: Last Resort — LOVED your first episode. I am hooked!; Partners— Haven’t watched you yet, but I have high hopes; Elementary and Revolution — You are on probation. You get one more week.
- On Thin Ice: Grey’s Anatomy — I can’t seem to quit you! I’ve tried. But you keep pulling me back in. After this next episode, I’m pulling the plug. Like you did with Sloan. Oh, and by the way, you killed off the wrong Grey. How I Met Your Mother — I love you all dearly. You are like family. But for the love of God, stop toying with us and tell us who the mother is!!
Search for the Spiciest Pumpkin Beer — You know how some pumpkin beers just do not taste like anything more than beer? I’m really on the hunt this fall for a pumpkin beer that tastes like pumpkin pie or is super spicy. Send me some ideas if you have them!
Second Sleep — Do you wake up in the middle of the night, futz around, and then head back to bed for a second snooze? Me, too! And, guess what?!?, it’s a thing. And it’s normal. And desirable even in helping humans manage stress. Hooray! (More info here.)
My Beloved Burrito Bag — I bought this cute silver purse earlier this year. I always take a ton of snazzy clutches with me to Jamaica so I can carry my cameras around at night when we’re dressed up for dinner. This one became part of my daily life and now hold all my miscellaneous stuff in my work bag. People always comment on it when they see it. The Mr. dubbed it the Burrito Bag. When its stuffed and upside down in my bag, that is exactly what it looks like. Anyway it was getting pretty beat up so I looked in the etsy store, Cory Renee, where I bought it and couldn’t find it! I wrote to Cory asking her if she could please, please, please make me another one. And she did!
