The randomness on my mind lately …
The Daily Dog Tag — I love, love, love this blog. If you are a doglover, you will just die over this collection of professional dog photos. Look at that face!
Google Analytics — I finally got it to work with tumblr! Woo hoo! A few things I’ve learned:
- Someone in Ethiopia reads my blog. Shoutout: Hey, there, Africa! Thanks for reading about my little ol’ life here in Boston. You should meet my mom. She reads my blog every day, too.
- People really like lobster. Who knew? I’ll be sure to do lobster posts on a regular basis for all you lobster post lovers.
- My most popular posts are My Polka Dot Polka Dot Afro Circus Aura and my Mother List. Yay, those are my favorite, too.
Camp Mighty — I’ll be honest. I almost chickened out. The day registration opened I thought: I can’t do this. Who do I think I am? Hobnobbing with the big bloggers (like The Bloggess!!). With this tiny blog of mine? And flying solo across the country? Really crazy. Really, really crazy. And then I went for it. Because that scared/excited feeling is usually the best indication that I am about to do something awesome. Stay tuned as there will be so much more on this. (Oh, and a special thank you to my Facebook friends who helped me with my flight plans. So appreciated!) Now, what am I going to wear?
Over app — If you are an instagrammer, you’ll love this app. You can add text to any photo! Think of the possibilities. (And come follow me on instagram. I’m juniperdisco. Of course.)
Pocket Disco app — And while I am at it, you must download this free app. It connects to the flash, turning it into a strobe light. You never know when you are going to need to drop everything for a dance-off.
Pssssst! Dry Shampoo (for curly and wavy hair)— I’m about to overshare but I am sure some of you ladies around my age are suffering in silence. Sometime in the last year or so, my hair has started to thin. The Mr. says I’m crazy, but I know my hair. It’s not like I’m going bald or anything, I’ve just noticed that I can see more of my scalp. And I’m pretty sure no one warned me about this! I also have fine hair and my Pssssst! (say it out loud) fluffs it up without adding yucky stuff to it. Especially on my no wash days. And my hair looks like it’s 17 again.
