The Tall Ships were in town this past week to mark the bicentennial of the War of 1812. Not sure why that would be something to celebrate in Boston? The ships were last here in 2009 and there seemed to be far fewer this time. The Mr. and I took a sunset tour by boat after work on Tuesday that included the tall ships, some of the military vessels, and a wonderful view of the full moon.

I've never been a black umbrella kind of girl. I've always been on my own trajectory. I love summer and all things ocean. I need options. I'm obsessed with the color green. "Pamplemousse" is my favorite word (followed closely by "snacks.") I am an awesome auntie. As soon as I was aware that you could live some place other than where you were, I knew I would leave. Now Boston is my heart and soul. And Provincetown is my playground. The rest of the time, you can find me at the corner of Swim Up Bar and Beach.
